Repairing old sources transparently.

The original guide contains valuable teaching material and many links collected over time. This page checks where those links now lead, records replacements, and distinguishes “the server answered” from “the source remains methodologically appropriate.”

Reachable

The address responded. A human still needs to judge whether its content is current and suitable.

Redirected

The old address now points somewhere else. We follow the redirect, preserve the old address for provenance, and record the final destination.

Review or unavailable

Some scholarly publishers block automated checks and some apps reject HEAD requests even when they work in a browser. Others are genuinely gone. Each gets a resolution note or replacement candidate.

Why preserve this audit? The Guide is the maintained teaching publication in the original programme. Link repair prevents useful material from disappearing while avoiding silent substitutions that could change meaning.
