Check a calculation, and put your name to it.

Automated checks catch what they were designed to catch. This page records what a person checked, against which exact version of a calculation, so that verification accumulates in public rather than living in someone's notes.

What signing in does and does not prove An ORCID iD is free and takes two minutes to create, so it establishes a persistent, publicly resolvable identity — not expertise. This ledger records who checked what. It does not certify that they were right. Two independent researchers agreeing is evidence; one is a data point; an unresolved dispute outranks both.

What has been validated

When a calculation changes, your validation is not silently discarded Each record names the exact method version it checked. If that method is later corrected, the record is marked superseded and shown alongside what changed and by how much — so you can re-check quickly instead of being told only that it no longer counts.
